The CNA server’s Chatter software module performs the following functions:
Schedules tests between CNA agents.
Performs alarm notification.
Analyzes, reports, and stores test results.
Shares the following information with other CNA Chatter modules in your network:
Configuration information for agent-based measurement:
l Security keys
l CNA agents
l Authorized users
l Chatter module configurations. Any configuration change that you make to a Chatter module is immediately communicated to other Chatter modules in the hive.
Test results. Each Chatter module shares its test results with other Chatter modules in your network to generate a unified report of the network status. Thus, you see the same agent-based measurement data regardless of the CNA server that you log in to.
