Bandwidth pooling

This feature allows you to group the bandwidth of several physical links into a single BGP link. This means that each link configured in the engine module could in reality consist of multiple physical links, but are still treated as a single BGP link from the engine’s point of view.

Bandwidth pooling requires that snmp polling for interface and load status values be done per physical link, not just per BGP link. The decision maker process would then aggregate the data on all of the links per group. In order to associate additional physical links to an existing link you can use the polling physical-link command:

polling physical-link <link> snmp-agent <agent> interface <intf>

Note that for backwards compatibility, a default physical link is associated with a BGP link, specified via the polling interface command.
