The Medic process monitors the temperature of each CPU in a device.
If the CPU temperature exceeds 60 degrees Celsius on any module, a trap will be thrown. When the temperature falls below 50 degrees, a “clear” trap will be thrown and the snmptrapd service will be reset to allow another trap to be sent for that module if the maximum is again exceeded.
