Using the Export Runtime Support Files Wizard

For creating runtime support files and runtime config files, Dialog Designer provides Export Runtime Support Files Wizard.

The runtime support ZIP file contains required JAR and other configuration files required by the Dialog Designer runtime and associated data connectors. The runtime support files must be installed on each application server that will host Dialog Designer applications.

The runtime support files only need to be installed once per application server and after a Dialog Designer version update.

The Runtime Configuration application is used to configuring various settings such as the license server URL, proxy settings and so on. that the Dialog Designer applications will use at runtime.

To access the Export Runtime Support Files Wizard, perform the following actions:

  1. From the File menu, select Export.
  1. Select Export Runtime Support Files and click Next.

Dialog Designer displays the Export Runtime Support Files Wizard.

  1. After editing these settings, click Finish.

Dialog Designer creates "runtimeSupport<appserver>.zip" in the specified directory.
