Viewing a List of Machines

You can view of list of all the machines identified on the system, including the local machine and the administered remote machines.

To view a list of all network machines:

1. Start at the Administration main menu and select:

Global Administration
     Messaging Administration

The system displays the SSH User Authentication dialog box. Enter your login, for example, sa or vm, in the User name field and your password in the Password field. Click Login. The system then displays the AUDIX Command Prompt screen.

2. Enter list machines at the enter command: prompt.

The system displays the List Machines screen.

This screen lists the local machine and each administered remote machine and information about each machine.

3. Use F7 (NextPage) and F8 (PrevPage) to scroll through the screens, if applicable.
4. Press F1 (Cancel) when you finish viewing the information.

The cursor returns to the command line, and the system displays the following message:

Command Successfully Completed.

5. Enter another administrative command at the enter command: prompt or click Return to Main.
