The Address Ranges screen displays a
numerical list of address ranges that belong to all machines in the network.
You can use this screen to determine if you have overlapping address ranges
in your network. If you have overlapping address ranges, you need to add
a prefix for address ranges on the local or remote Machine Profile screens
for any overlapping addresses.
To list address ranges:
- Start at the Administration
main menu and select:
Global Administration
Messaging Administration
The system displays the SSH
User Authentication dialog box. Enter your login, for example, sa or vm,
in the User name
field and your password in the Password
field. Click Login. The system then displays the AUDIX
Command Prompt screen.
- Enter list address-ranges
or list address-ranges starting_address at the
enter
command:
prompt.
The system displays the following
message:
Display Only Those Ranges
with Maximum Number of Overlaps? n
- To display all
address ranges for all machines in the network, leave the default
at n for no.
- To display only ranges
with the maximum number of overlaps, that is, 16 machines with overlapping
address ranges, type y for yes.
- Press F3 (Enter).
The system displays the
Address Ranges screen. See the table for
Field Definitions: Address Ranges Screen
for field descriptions of this display-only screen.
- Use F7 (NextPage)
and F8 (PrevPage) to scroll through the screens, if applicable.
- Press F1 (Cancel).
The cursor returns to the
command line, and the system displays the following message:

Completed

- Enter another
administrative command at the
enter command:
prompt or click
Return to Main.
