Listing Remote Extensions

The List Remote Extensions screen displays a list of remote subscriber names, types, and extensions and the usage date. The list that is displayed starts with either the first entry or the extension specified in the command line.

To list remote extensions:

  1. Start at the Administration main menu and select:
  2. Global Administration
    Messaging Administration

    The system displays the SSH User Authentication dialog box. Enter your login, for example, sa or vm, in the User name field and your password in the Password field. Click Login. The system then displays the AUDIX Command Prompt screen.

  3. Enter one of the following commands at the enter command: prompt:
  4. list remote-extensions machine_name

    The machine_name is required and identifies the remote machine.

    list remote-extensions machine_name extension

    The extension option specifies the starting extension in the list. If the extension is not specified, the list starts with the numerically lowest extension.

    list remote-extension machine_name extension_type

    The type option specifies that only extensions of that type are listed. Valid extension types are administered, verified, and unverified.


    Note: If your system has a printer, you can print the contents of this screen by typing the word print before list in any of the above commands.

    The system displays the List Remote Extensions screen. See the table for List Remote Extensions Screen Description for field descriptions of this read-only screen.

  5. Use F7 (NextPage) and F8 (PrevPage) to scroll through the screens, if applicable.
  6. Press F1 (Cancel) when you finish viewing the screens.
  7. The cursor returns to the command line, and the system displays the following message:

    Command Successfully Completed.

  8. Enter another administrative command at the enter command: prompt or click Return to Main.
