Recovering from a Hard Disk Drive Failure

Because the hard disk drive contains the base system software, you must reinstall the entire INTUITY AUDIX system if this disk fails on a single disk system. To recover from a hard disk drive failure:

1. Remove the failed hard disk drive.
2. Install a new hard disk drive.
3. Verify the CMOS settings.
4. Install the UnixWare software package.
5. Install the platform software package.
6. Restore the system.
