SCSI Hard Disk Diagnostics

Retrieving Non-RAID Hard Disk Drive Information

To retrieve hard disk drive information:

1. Start at the Avaya INTUITY Main Menu and select:

Customer/Services Administration
	Diagnostics
		Disk Status/Diagnostics
			Disk Information

The system displays the Disk Information Selection Window.

2. Type the appropriate disk number.
3. Press F3 (Save).
4. The system displays one of the following:
   • If you are performing this task on a MAP/40P, the system displays the SCSI Hard Disk Drive Information Screen.
   • If you are performing this task on a MAP/5P, MAP/5PV3, or MAP/5PV4, the system displays the IDE Hard Disk Drive Information Screen.

Performing Basic Non-RAID Hard Disk Drive Diagnostics

To perform the diagnostics:

1. Start at the Avaya INTUITY Main Menu and select:

Customer/Services Administration
	Diagnostics
		Disk Status/Diagnostics
			Basic Disk Test

The system displays the Basic Disk Test Selection Window.

2. Type the appropriate disk number.
3. Press F3 (Save).

The system performs the basic disk test.

Performing Comprehensive Non-RAID Hard Disk Drive Diagnostics

To perform the diagnostics:

1. Start at the Avaya INTUITY Main Menu and select:

Customer/Services Administration
	Diagnostics
		Disk Status/Diagnostics
			Comprehensive Disk Test

The system displays the Comprehensive Disk Selection Window.

2. Type the appropriate disk number.
3. Press F3 (Save).

The system performs the comprehensive disk test.
