What's New in INTUITY AUDIX LX

What's New in Release 1.1

This release includes changes to the platform and to this documentation.

Platform Changes

Intuity AUDIX LX 1.1 uses an updated hardware platform, the Avaya S3210. This platform is similar to the LX 1000 platform, except for these differences:

  • A faster processor. The LX 1000 platform had a 700 Mhz Intel Celeron processor, while the S3210 contains a 2 Ghz Intel Celeron processor. Response times are improved even more during system processes and user interactions with this increase in processing speed.
  • Three additional PCI slots. This provides for port and serviceability expansion in later releases. The INTUITY AUDIX LX 1.1 on the Avaya S3210 is currently configured for a maximum of three analog-line interface cards.

Documentation Changes

Support for switch integration has been simplified. This documentation now only provides information about integration that is specific to the INTUITY AUDIX LX. You can find more specific task-based information for different switch types beginning with Switch Integration.
