Browser Troubleshooting Procedures

This section contains the following troubleshooting procedures for remote access through a web browser:

Replacing the Security Certificate

This procedure is required primarily after updating the INTUITY AUDIX LX to Release 1.1. This update increases the security implemented on the LX system and requires that the security certificate be replaced in Netscape Navigator Release 6.0 and higher on the personal computer that you use for remote access.

To replace the Netscape security certificate:

  1. In the Netscape browser, select:
    Preferences
    Security and Privacy

The system displays the Preferences web page.

    1. Select the Web Sites tab.
    2. Find localhost.localdomain in the display and click to highlight it.
    3. Click Delete.
    4. If you are logged into the the INTUITY AUDIX LX system, log off and close the browser.

    5. Open another browser session and then enter the INTUITY AUDIX LX system's URL.
    6. Log in as normal and accept security certificates when they are offered.
    7.

The browser should now allow a normal login.
