The following alarms are generated by the SW application and indicate a problem with the switch integration: SW OVERLAN 1Description:The host switch link has been out of operation for too long. When the link is not in operation, the INTUITY AUDIX LX system does not provide call coverage. The system resolves this alarm when the link returns to operation. Repair Procedure:SW OVERLAN 2Description:A remote switch link has been out of operation too long. When the link is not in operation, the INTUITY AUDIX system does not provide call coverage for the remote subscribers. This alarm is resolved automatically when the link comes up. Repair Procedure:SW OVERLAN 3Description:The host switch link has been in service and out of service too frequently. When the link is not in operation, the INTUITY AUDIX system does not provide call coverage. Repair Procedure:SW OVERLAN 4Description:A remote switch link has been in service and out of service too frequently. When the link is not in operation, the INTUITY AUDIX system does not provide call coverage for remote subscribers. Repair Procedure:SW OVERLAN 5Description:Host name resolution failed. The system cannot match a host name to an IP address. It cannot connect to the system with the host name. Repair Procedure:SW OVERLAN 6Description:The switch rejected the INTUITY AUDIX system's session connection attempt. Because of this rejection, the INTUITY AUDIX system cannot communicate with the switch. Callers will need to enter an extension number to reach a mailbox. Also, they are not able to transfer to other destinations. Repair Procedure:SW OVERLAN 7Description:The switch failed to send an acknowledgment message to the INTUITY AUDIX system's request for a session connection within the allowed period of time. Because of this failure, the INTUITY AUDIX system cannot establish a link to the switch. If this condition persists, it will lead to a major alarm that indicates that the link is not in operation. Repair Procedure:SW OVERLAN 8Description:The INTUITY AUDIX system sent data to the host switch and did not receive an acknowledgment message within the allowed period of time. This condition can be the result of network delays, a loss in LAN connectivity, or problems with the switch that caused it to fail to send the message. Repair Procedure:SW OVERLAN 9Description:The switch failed to acknowledge the INTUITY AUDIX system's keep alive message. A keep alive message is a message that the INTUITY AUDIX system sends to the switch during idle periods or after a fixed interval to ensure that the connection is still good. If this condition persists, it will lead to a major alarm that indicates that the link is down. Repair Procedure:SW OVERLAN 10Description:The software is experiencing internal errors. Repair Procedure:SW OVERLAN 11Description:The INTUITY AUDIX system is unable to use some of its administered values. It cannot obtain the port numbers or IP addresses for the switch. Repair Procedure:SW OVERLAN 12Description:The INTUITY AUDIX system is unable to use some of its information about timeout periods and audits. The audits and the generation of alarms could be affected. Repair Procedure:SW OVERLAN 13Description:The INTUITY AUDIX system is unable to use some of its information about timeout periods and retry intervals. The system logs the error and then uses default values. Repair Procedure:SW OVERLAN 14Description:The switch is sending invalid options to the INTUITY AUDIX system and the options might need to be adjusted on the switch side. The INTUITY AUDIX system cannot establish communication with the switch. Since the link is not in operation, the system is not integrated. Callers need to enter an extension number to reach a mailbox. Also, they are not able to transfer to other destinations. Repair Procedure:SW OVERLAN 15Description:The link to the switch is not operational because it was removed from operation. Repair Procedure:SW SWIN 0Description:One of the following events occurred:

Repair Procedure:SW SWINDIP 2Description:The INTUITY AUDIX system had trouble with starting software used to interpret information from the switch. When the system answers the telephone, it asks callers to enter extension numbers. Repair Procedure:SW SWINSERIAL 1Description:The INTUITY AUDIX system could not open and use the assigned serial port. This alarm failure is possibly due to a hardware failure. When the system answers the telephone, it asks callers to enter extension numbers. While this alarm is active, message-waiting indicators are not updated. Repair Procedure:SW WRITER 1Description:The serial link between the INTUITY AUDIX system and the switch is not operational.
