Note: Changes to the local machine may not affect the system until corresponding changes are made to the remote machine. You must coordinate changes with the administrator of the remote machine.

If you enter y, the local Intuity AUDIX system automatically runs updates or gets data from remote systems when it detects significant discrepancies with the database of the remote system.
If you enter n, the local Intuity AUDIX system does not automatically run updates.

n = no
If you enter y, this local Intuity AUDIX system accepts updated user database information from any remote machine that has its Updates: In? field set to y.
If you enter n, the local Intuity AUDIX system does not accept updates from any remote machine regardless of the entry on the remote Machine Profile screen. Set this field to y only after testing the network end-to-end connectivity during initial administration.

n = no
If you enter y, updates to user database information for local users are sent to any remote machine that has its Updates: Out field set to y.
If you enter n, updates are not sent to any remote machine regardless of the entry for this field on the remote Machine Profile screen. Set this field to y only after testing the network end-to-end connectivity during initial administration.
Network Turnaround?
y = yes
n = no
Enter y to allow a network connection that originated from this local Intuity AUDIX system to turn around after the local Intuity AUDIX system has sent all of its network data to any remote machine. The remote machine may then return update information, voice mail, and status on the same connection.
Enter n to disable this feature.
