Prefix
0-21 alphanumeric characters
The prefix digit or digits for the range of telephone numbers for subscribers on this machine. The prefix can be used to distinguish between machines that have overlapping extensions. For example, the prefix 22 can be used to uniquely identify subscribers in one city that happen to have the same extension as subscribers on a networked machine in another city.
Note that the combined length of the prefix and the extension cannot exceed 24 characters.

3-10 digits
The starting extension for the range of extensions assigned to subscribers on this machine.
End Ext.
3-10 digits
The ending extension for the range of extensions assigned to subscribers on this machine.

Notifies you that ranges overlap on networked machines. For example, machine1 may have extensions 3000 to 5999 and machine2 may have extensions 4000 to 6999.
