Administrator's Log Screen; Specifying Information for a Report

Start Date:
A calendar date in the format mm/dd/yy
The beginning date for the log report. If you leave this field blank, all qualifying alarms are displayed.
The default value is the date that this screen was last used. (This screenlastused date is preserved across restarts.)
Time:
A 24-hour clock time in the format hh:mm
The beginning hour and minute that the report begins. The Start Date: field must have valid entries before you can use this field. If the Time: field is blank, all alarms for the specified start date are displayed.

Application:
blank
VM, VP, NW, SW, MT, or MB
The two-character application code for the administration log entry:
  • (blank) All applications
  • VM = Messaging (voice mail, fax mail, and email messages)
  • VP = Voice platform
  • NW = Digital networking only
  • SW = Switch-interface
  • MT = Maintenance
  • MB = Remote maintenance circuit card
Event ID:
1–14
alphanumeric characters
The event ID for a specific event. A blank field displays all event types. See Alarms and Events for a list of valid administration event IDs.
Search String:
1–78 characters
A text string that you want the system to search for in the administrator's log entries. The system searches the Message field of the administrator's log for matching text.
