Intended Audience

This document is intended for personnel who administer:

• DHCP, TFTP, HTTP, SIP Registration and/or other servers to support the 4600 Series SIP IP and IP Telephones, and
• Local Area Networks.

CAUTION: Avaya does not support many of the products mentioned in this document. Take care to ensure that there is adequate technical support available for these types of servers:

• TFTP servers,
• HTTP servers,
• DHCP servers,
• SIP Registration servers,
• FTP servers,
• LDAP servers, and
• Web servers.

Note: If the servers are not functioning correctly, the 4600 Series IP Telephones may not operate correctly.
