Registration and Authentication

A 4600 Series SIP IP Telephone requires an off-PBX station (OPS) extension on the Avaya Communication Manager and a login and password on the Registration Server to register and authenticate it. Registration is described in the Initialization process, in Step 4: Telephone and the Call Server.
