Remote databases

The following database management systems can be installed on a remote server and can interface with the Avaya IR system using the JDBC feature:

• Oracle 8i (8.1.7)
• Oracle 9i
• Sybase 12.x
• Informix 9.21.UC4
• IBM DB2 V8.1
• MS SQL Server 7.0 and 2000

  Note:
  Local database support is for Oracle 8i and 9i only.
  
  MS SQL Server 7.0 does not support stored procedures.

These software packages must be purchased from their respective vendors separately from the Avaya IR system. Contact the vendors for more information on these systems.
