Installing JDBC drivers
To integrate the Avaya IR system with a database management system, you must download and install the JDBC driver for the database management system you intend to use.
The following drivers have been tested by Avaya:
- Oracle JDBC driver:
Oracle9i 9.0.1.4 JDBC Drivers from www.oracle.com - Sybase JDBC driver:
Sybase Driver jconnect55.zip from www.sybase.com - Informix JDBC driver:
IBM Informix JDBC Driver 2.21.JC5 from www.ibm.com - IBM DB2 V8.1 JDBC driver:
db2jcc.jar JDBC Driver from the server on which DB2 is installed - MS SQL Server 2000 JDBC driver:
SQL Server 2000 Driver for JDBC Service Pack 2 from www.microsoft.com - MS SQL Server 7.0 JDBC driver:
Thin TDS (recommended) or TWFreeTDS (tested) from www.thinweb.com
Note:
There are other drivers available on the market that you may download from the Internet or obtain with your database software. Although other drivers may work, they have not been tested by Avaya.
