The use of certain features in Avaya IR is licensed and controlled with a Right-to-Use (RTU) license file. This file is obtained through and provisioned only by Avaya provisioning personnel.
This file generally works by limiting the number of ports that can be used at any one time for a given feature. For example, if your system is licensed to use only 12 fax ports at one time, and if all 12 fax ports were busy, the 13th fax caller must wait until one fax port becomes free before the fax call can be completed.
