Description

This package provides the software required for text-to-speech functionality in Avaya IR voice applications communicating with systems running MRCP-compliant text-to-speech engines.

The AVmrcptts package requires the following:

• Avaya IR release 1.2.1 Service Pack 1 (AV1-2-1SP1) or later.
• The Speech Proxy package (AVsproxy)
• Proxy Text-to-Speech package (AVttsprxy)
• Vendor TTS software that supports MRCP (installed on a separate server). Currently, this includes the IBM WebSphere Voice Server for Multiplatforms V5.1

The AVmrcptts package is language independent. It supports all languages offered by vendor TTS engines that are MRCP-compliant.
