Speech response delayed
Delays in speech response may be caused by:
- Inadequate IR system or LAN resources. Managing the performance of your IR system helps to prevent delays in speech response.
- Limited recognition resources in a speech recognition application. All remote application resources might be busy and not available for allocation to other calls. You must wait for resources to become available or increase the number of resources the system can use.
- Overloaded host communications. If interactions between the host and the IR system are too busy, the result may be delays in speech response.
- Mismatches between the anticipated number of digits in an ANI or DID pass and the actual number received (R2MFC protocol only). Use the
nms
command to specify the anticipated number of digits.
