Platform user accounts are required to log into the Avaya IR system. To establish user accounts, use Admintool, a graphical user interface for managing users and groups on the system.
Note:
To use Admintool, you must have an X Window environment, such as Common Desktop Environment (CDE) for Sun systems or Exceed for Microsoft Windows systems. If you do not have access to an X Window environment, you can establish user accounts with the Solaris command useradd
and groupadd
.

To establish user accounts on the Avaya IR platform:
