Remote databases

The following database management systems can be installed on a remote server and can interface with the Avaya IR system using the JDBC feature:

• Oracle standard edition 9i and 10g
• Oracle enterprise edition 9i and 10g
• Sybase 12.x
• Informix 9.21.UC4 and 9.4
• IBM DB2 V8.1 and V8.2
• MS SQL Server 2000, 2005, and MSDE

  Note:
  Oracle 8i, 9i, and 10g are the only databases that have been certified to run locally on the Avaya IR.
  
  Avaya IR does not support stored procedures on Informix or MS SQL Server 7.0.

These software packages must be purchased from their respective vendors, separately from the Avaya IR system. Contact the vendors for more information on these systems.
