The operating system required for the Sun Fire V240 platform is Sun Solaris 10. This is also the preferred operating system for the Sun Fire 280R and Sun Blade 150 platforms. Customers who purchase complete systems (hardware and software) get this operating system.
For software-only customers who have their own hardware, Avaya IR also supports Solaris 8 update 8. Avaya IR does not support versions of Sun, prior to Solaris 8 update 7.
