Managing security certificates

To use Transport Layer Security (TLS) or Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to encrypt the information sent by the MSS to and from an LDAP Server, a security certificate must be installed on the MSS and on the AAA server. Use the following procedure to upload the security certificate from an LDAP AAA server and install the certificate on the MSS. The Avaya Root certificate from the MSS must also be installed on the LDAP AAA server.

To upload a security certificate:

  1. On the Manage Certificates page, click Upload Certificate.
  2. On the Upload Certificate page, in the Certificate Name field, enter a name for the security certificate.
  3. Note: The certificate name you enter must match the server name you enter on the Configure Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA) Server page.

  4. In the Path to Certificate File field, enter the path to the certificate file, or click Browse and navigate to the certificate file.

For information about the fields on this page, click Help.
  5. Click Save.

To delete a security certificate:

  1. On the Manage Certificates page, select the security certificate you want to delete.
  2. Click Delete the Selected Certificate.
