Adding a new SNMP user

This topic provides information about adding new SNMP users to the system. Complete this procedure if you are performing SNMP queries from an NMS running SNMP version 3.

To add a new SNMP user to the system:

1. On the Administer SNMP Users page, click Add.
2. Complete the fields on the Add New SNMP User page. You can click the field names or Help to view more information.
3. Click Save.

   The system saves your changes.

4. Click OK to confirm addition of the new user.

   The system displays the Administer SNMP Users page with an updated list of existing users.
