Administering trusted servers on the MSS

Trusted servers are clients that have permission to write data to the LDAP directory on the MSS. There are a number of specific server types that you can administer as a trusted server, including the following:

• Messaging Application Server
• MWI Server
• Directory Enabled Management (DEM) Server
• Mailbox Manager
• ProVision
• Site Administration
• Speech Access
• Tracing server

Administering trusted servers includes the following tasks:

• Adding trusted servers
• Modifying the settings of an existing trusted server
• Deleting a trusted server
• Viewing a list of administered trusted servers
