MT (Maintenance) events

The following events are generated by the MT application and indicate a maintenance problem:

MT BKRST001

Description:

The system successfully completed a backup.

Repair procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

MT BKRST008

Description:

The system is missing a backup file or a directory.

Repair procedure:

MT BKRST015

Description:

The system successfully completed a restore.

Repair procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

MT BKRST029

Description:

The system completed a partial nightly backup.

Repair procedure:

This event indicates that the nightly unattended backup is not complete because there was not enough space on the DVD-RAM media to store all system data. Consider performing full attended backups on a regular basis using more than one DVD-RAM media, or configuring LAN backup to ensure that all system data is backed up.

MT FAN001

Description:

For an MSS S3500 server, the fan speed is too slow, or the fan is not running.

Repair procedure:

MT FAN002

Description:

For an MSS S3500 server, the fan speed is too fast.
