- In the Voice Mail System Configuration window, click the voice mail domain.
- Click Message Application Servers.
- Click on the MAS you want to configure.
- Double-click Serviceability. The system displays the Serviceability dialog box for the selected MAS, with the General tab active.
- Suppress alarm notifications Select to temporarily suppress alarm notifications from this MAS.
You would typically select this, if you were engaged in maintenance and/or repair activities that would result in the generation of additional alarms and errors. In this situation, be sure to remember to clear this check box when you are finished, otherwise alarm notifications will not resume.
Note:
If the same setting is selected in the voice mail domain-wide Serviceability dialog box, General tab, it overrides this setting. If it is not selected, the setting on this screen is used for the MAS. See VMSC - VMD - Serviceability - General Tab.
