During initial system installation, if you are using point-to-point networking (for
example, to directly connect an MSS to another MSS or to a Message Networking
server) and a corporate DNS is not used, the installer entered the IP addresses of the directly connected machines in the host
file for each MSS. You can modify the host information after installation to add, modify, or delete a machine:
