Changing your password

This topic describes how to change the password for your administration account (login) on the MSS using the web-based administration pages. If you are using an LDAP Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA) sever to authenticate administration accounts (logins) on the MSS, the password is also changed on the AAA server, if the AAA server allows the change. If you are using a RADIUS AAA server, the password on the AAA server cannot be changed using the Change My Password page.

To change the password for your administration account:

1. On the Change My Password page, complete the Old Password (your current password), New Password, and Confirm Password fields. The characters you enter appear as asterisks for security purposes.
