Use this procedure to administer Avaya Speech Access as a trusted server on the MSS. Administer this type of trusted server if you are using Unified Communications Center (UCC) Speech Access with Modular Messaging to provide a speech user interface.
To administer Avaya Speech Access as a trusted server:
- On the MSS, add a new trusted server for Avaya Speech Access:
- On the Manage Trusted Servers page, click Add a New Trusted Server.
- On the Add Trusted Server page, select Speech Access from the Special Type field.
The following fields are set by the system:
- Service Name is set to Speech Access.
- Minutes of Inactivity Before Alarm is set to 0 and cannot be modified.
- Access to Cross Domain Delivery is set to no and cannot be modified.
- Default Community is set to 1 and cannot be modified.
- LDAP Access Allowed is set to yes and cannot be modified.
- LDAP Connection Security is set to No encryption required, but can be modified.
- IMAP4 Super User Access Allowed is set to yes and cannot be modified.
- IMAP4 Super User Connection Security is set to Must use SSL or encrypted SASL and cannot be modified.
- Complete the remaining fields on the page. You can click the field names
or Help to view more information.
- Click Save to add Avaya Speech Access as a trusted server on the system.
A message displays that the trusted server was added successfully.
- Click OK.
The Manage Trusted Server page displays the updated list of trusted servers.
