An Avaya server might display an error message stating System
Event Log Full when the server reboots. This error message can
appear on all S3500-family servers and on S3400-family servers that
use the integrated video and LAN motherboard.
Description:
During a server reboot, the boot sequence pauses for a couple of
seconds, and the monitor displays the message System Event Log
Full in red text. The boot sequence then continues normally.
Repair procedure:
You do not need to take any action. This message refers to an event
log that the Modular Messaging system does not use. The log records
new entries every time the server is booted. If a server is rebooted
often, the event log becomes full. The System Event Log Full
error message has no impact on system performance.
