The Message Storage Server (MSS) ships from the factory with the
Linux operating system software already installed. You can reinstall
the Linux operating system if required, such as after a catastrophic
hard disk failure. The Linux operating system software is located
on the Avaya Modular Messaging Message Storage Server (MSS) Software
media.
