This topic describes how to remove software from the Message Storage
Server (MSS).
To remove software from the MSS:
- On the Software Removal page, select the check box next to the high-level messaging system
packages that you want to remove.
- Click Submit to remove the selected packages.
The system displays a complete list of packages to be removed
for confirmation, in package priority order. If no packages
were selected, a system message indicates this.
- Click Proceed with removal to remove the selected packages.
The server displays software removal output. This output can
be reexamined either upon completion or at a later time through
the Installation/Removal Logs Display page. For more information,
see Viewing software installation and
removal logs. When the removal process is complete, its
status is reported.
