Understanding Subscriber Activity log entries
The Subscriber Activity log shows activity information for a selected
subscriber. Events are listed in chronological order (oldest first)
beginning with the specified date and time. Before running this
report, you must first instruct the system to collect activity data,
as described in Setting Subscriber Activity
log data collection options.
Received entries
A received entry is made in the Subscriber Activity log each time
a message is delivered to a subscriber's mailbox. Note that a message
with multiple recipients generates a received entry for each recipient.
The message can be one of the following:
- Voice mail (VM) includes fax mail and email messages
- Priority voice mail
- Call Answer (CA)
- Leave Word Calling (LWC)
- Undeliverable message notification
Scheduled entries
A scheduled entry is made in the Subscriber Activity log each
time a message is scheduled for delivery. Only one scheduled entry
is made for a message regardless of the number of recipients. The
message can be one of the following:
- Voice mail (VM) includes fax mail and email messages
- Priority voice mail
- Call Answer
Since CA messages are scheduled for immediate delivery at the
time they are created, the scheduled delivery time is not repeated
on the display. In addition:
- If both the calling party and the called party are local subscribers,
the display shows that the calling party scheduled the message
for the called party.
- If the calling party is not a local subscriber, the activity
is not recorded.
- If the called party is not a local subscriber, the local messaging
system has no knowledge of the call and the activity is not
recorded.
