Testing LDAP connection

Use the LDAP test to verify that the networked machines are administered correctly.

To run the LDAP test:

  1. Start at the Messaging Administration main menu and select:
  2. Diagnostics
         Test LDAP Connection

    The system displays the Test LDAP Connection page.

  3. Select the required networked machine from the drop-down list and click Run Test.

    The system will attempt to connect to the LDAP server on the selected machine, using the administered IP address, port, machine name and password.

Click Back to return to the Diagnostics page or Return to Main to go to the Messaging Administration main menu.
