Overview of the Avaya Message Networking system

The Avaya™ Message Networking system is a network integrator, allowing the Avaya™ S3400 Message Server to communicate with other messaging servers that use supported industry standard and Avaya proprietary network protocols. These supported standard and proprietary protocols are:

  • SMTP/MIME
  • VPIMv2
  • AMIS Analog Networking
  • Octel Analog Networking
  • AUDIX Digital
  • Aria Digital
  • Serenade Digital
