Save announcements (TN750 or TN750B only)

Note: Use this procedure only for configurations with the TN750 or TN750B announcement circuit pack. You do not need to save announcements on the TN750C or TN2501AP integrated announcement circuit packs, which contain on-board, nonvolatile memory.

To determine whether the system has recorded announcements

  1. Type display announcements and press Return.

    2. If no recorded announcements are listed, you do not have to save announcements.


Note: If none of the announcements has changed since they were last saved, you do not have to save announcements. If there is any doubt, save the announcements anyway.

  1. Type save announcements UUCSS and press Return.

    2. Saving announcements takes about 40 minutes.
