Check these fields for the corresponding values:
- In the
SPE ALARMS section,
MAJOR and
MINOR alarms =
0

in service
- If there are alarms, take the necessary corrective actions (
display alarms).
- Type
display errors and press
Return.
- Examine the Hardware Error Log and record any Error Code 18 alarm that identifies existing busyouts. After the upgrade you will restore the busyouts as they were (Restore busyouts).
- For configurations with existing BX.25 links that are being retained after the upgrade, type display communication-interface links and press
Return.
- Identify and note all of these links.
- Execute the following commands to see whether the switch has administration:

list station
-
list trunk-group
-
list hunt-group
-
list data-module
-
list announcements
If any command does not complete successfully, escalate the problem immediately. After the upgrade you will check the same administration to ensure that the translations are intact.
