Enabling Event Logging of Utilization

To enable event logging of utilization, enter Global Configuration mode and use the following command:

set utilization threshold-event {cpu | forwarding-engine}

The default setting for event logging of utilization is disabled. If you enable event logging of utilization but do not specify a utilization threshold, the switch logs an event if the CPU utilization or forwarding engine utilization exceeds 95 percent.

To disable event logging of utilization, enter Global Configuration mode and use the following command:

clear utilization threshold-event {cpu | forwarding-engine}
