This site requires your browser to have a security certificate from this site. This certificate is used to establish an encrypted, secure session with the Avaya media server. If offered, you must accept this certificate in order to log in.
You can accept this security certificate: (1) for this session only or (2) for this and future sessions.
Accept the server certificate for the current session only if you are accessing the media server on a one-time basis (for example, from a computer or browser that you don't normally use).
Store the server certificate for this and future sessions if you are accessing the Avaya media server from a computer and browser you plan to use again.
Before you do this, make certain that your connection to the Avaya media server is genuine:
Direct laptop connections are made over a private LAN and are always secure.
Dial-up connections and connections made over the corporate intranet are likely to connect only to the server that you are trying to reach.
Other remote network connections such as Internet connections may be suspect.
The procedure that you follow to accept the certificate depends on your browser.
For Internet Explorer:
To accept the certificate for the current session only, click Yes on the Security Alert dialog box.
To accept the certificate for this and future sessions, click View Certificate Security Alert dialog box.
A Certificate dialog box appears. On the General tab, click Install Certificate.
The Certificate Manager Import Wizard guides you through the process. Accept all default values. On the final screen, wait for the install to complete, click Finish.
A Root Certificate Store message may appear. Click Yes to add this certificate to the Trusted Root Certification Authorities.
For Netscape Navigator:
To accept the certificate for the current session only and for future sessions, click Next to run the New Site Certificate wizard.
Choose whether to accept the certificate for this session only, to not accept the certificate, or to accept the certificate forever (until it expires).
Follow the prompts to complete.
