For security purposes, you should log off the Avaya media server when you finish your web administration tasks.
Always use the Log Off screen to end your web administration
session. If you simply close the browser window, the session will remain
active until it times out and the server terminates the session. A hacker
could potentially gain control of an abandoned session and access the
media server.
To log off the server:
On the main menu near the top, click the Log Off link. The Log Off screen appears.
Click the Log Off button at the bottom of the screen. The current session is terminated.
If you let the web administration interface remain idle for 30 minutes, the server automatically logs off the session. If this happens:
The next time you try to access one of the web administration interface screens, you see a session time-out message.
Click on the Login button to return to the Login screen.
If you were adding or changing data on a screen, your changes may have been lost. Access the screen you were working on, and re-enter any lost data.
