This screen appears for Avaya personnel who use the craft login. It allows them to temporarily cancel alarm-reporting through INADS (for example, if they are going to do a maintenance procedure that they know will cause alarms).
After logging in as craft. The Craft Login screen appears.
Click the appropriate button in response to the prompt: Suppress alarm origination?
Choose Yes to stop alarms from being reported to INADS during this session. After logging off, INADS automatically reactivates, and any unresolved alarms are reported to INADS.
Choose No to leave INADS alarm-reporting in place. Use this option if the procedures you plan to do will not produce unnecessary alarms.
When logged in as craft, the session logs off automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity. At that time, any unresolved alarms are reported to INADS. If you are logged in as craft at two different computers, the logoff occurs when the second computer remains unused for 30 minutes.
The testinads
command functions even if INADS alarm origination is overridden.
