Use this screen to install an Avaya root certificate on your computer. This establishes Avaya Inc. as a trusted Certificate Authority (CA). See Security certificates overview for details.
To install an Avaya root certificate:
In the main menu of the media server web interface under Security, click the Install Avaya Root Certificate link.
The Install Avaya Root Certificate screen appears.
Click the radio button for the type of browser you are using: Internet Explorer or Netscape Communicator.
Click the Install button.
You are prompted to download the certificate.
On Internet Explorer:
In the File Download dialog box, click Open. Do not save this file to disk!
On the Certificate dialog box, on the General tab, click Install Certificate.
The Certificate Manager Import Wizard guides you through the process. Accept all default values. On the final screen, wait for the install to complete, then click Finish.
A Root Certificate Store message may appear. Click Yes to add this certificate to the Trusted Root Certification Authorities store.
On Netscape Navigator:
In the Downloading Certificate dialog box, check the box for "Trust this CA to identify web sites".
Click OK to finish installing the certificate.
