Busy Out Server screen

Use the Busy Out screen to place a standby server out of service. You can busy out a server for repair, or to prevent it from interchanging while upgrading the software.

You cannot busy out the active server. Use the View Summary Status screen to find out which server is active and which is standby. Log in to the standby server to busy it out.

To busy out the standby server:

  1. On the main menu under Server, click Busy Out Server. For information about the fields in the Busy Out Server screen, see Server field definitions.
  2. On the Busy Out Server screen, check the Mode field to make sure that the server is in standby mode.
  3. Click Busy Out. The Busy Out Server Results screen shows the success or failure of the request.
