Download Files to Server screen



Use the screen to download files onto the
Avaya media server from another server across the network using http protocol.
Typical files to download include new license or authentication files,
IPSI firmware upgrades, system announcements, or keys.install
files that might be used with network time servers.
Prerequisites
To use the download screen, the media server
must be able to access the:

To download files from a web server to the
Avaya media server:
- In the main menu of the web administration interface
under Miscellaneous, click the Download
Files to Server (from web).
- On the Download Files to Server screen, specify 1
to 4 files to download by Universal Resource Locator (URL) address.
- Specify the complete URL. For example, https://networktime.com/security/keys.install
- If a proxy server is required to access an external
web server (a web server that is not on the corporate network), it must
be entered in a server:port format as follows:
- Enter the proxy server's name (such as network.proxy)
or IP address.
- If the proxy server requires a port number, add a
colon (:) followed by a port number. The default proxy port is 80.
- When finished, click Load
File.
- The Download Files to Server results screen appears.
- Verify that the file(s)
were downloaded successfully to the Avaya media server. If so, continue
working with the web administration interface as needed.
- If an error message appears, note the likely problem,
and to correct it return to this screen.
