Avaya System Products using a Sun Microsystems Operating System:
Avaya system products include an Operating System with the product when it is delivered. Avaya Call Management System (CMS) and Avaya Interactive Response (IR) are both shipped with an operating system from Sun Microsystems. Actions to be taken on those products are described below.

Avaya recommends that customers install patch 119067-07 on CMS V9 and V11 systems.


Avaya recommends that customers install patch 112785-61 on CMS R12, R13/13.1, and R14 systems.

As CMS systems do not load the freetype libraries, patch 116105-07(CMS R12 and later) and 124420-02 (CMS V9 and V11) are NOT approved or needed.
Avaya IR IR 2.0 on Solaris 8 and 10 and IR 3.0 on Solaris 10 Medium Avaya recommends that customers install the Solaris July 2007 patch cluster to address this issue for IR 2.0 and IR 3.0. The patch cluster will also be included in the October 2007 service pack release for IR 2.0.
