Posting to the forum shall be automatic and self-service driven by the pre-screening rules. Pre-defined violating key words will not be automatically posted but sent to Moderator/Administrator for review before posting.

Thread posts rejected by the screening process shall be sent to the Forum Moderator to respond to contributor the reason for the rejection or for revision and posting after removal of violating words.

Thread Posts will be removed if the post falls into one of the unacceptable posting categories:

Profanity in subject lines, signatures or within messages including: inappropriate language, harmful or abusive language, expletives or profanities, obscenities, hate speech, or harassing, offensive, vulgar or sexually explicit language

Spamming or commercial solicitation or advertising

Posting with the apparent intent of inciting or perpetuating a conflict or argument

Forums or individual threads with repetitive, pointless posts

Posting personal e-mail or chat dialogues

Posting pornographic or otherwise objectionable material

Impersonating other individuals or false representation

Forward surveys, contests, pyramid schemes or chain letters

Discussion of illegal activity, or posting links to other websites that deal with such activities

Defamatory comments against Avaya

Comments referencing our competitors, either favorably or unfavorably unless it is integrating solution paired with one of our products

Any material that infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret or other proprietary right of any party, unless the poster is the owner of the Rights or have the permission of the owner to post or transmit such material

Posting materials other than text e.g., sound or executable files

Posts which are completely unrelated to the forum in which they are posted (Content may be relocated to a more appropriate forum thread or category)

Excessive cross-posting (this is considered spam)

Posts which breach another member's privacy, i.e., containing phone numbers, addresses or other personal information including login/password sharing

Copyright violations

Security violations

Confidential Information

Single-word comments if they provide no value to the thread

Forum Moderators and Administrators will both be given the capability to remove content which falls into unacceptable posting categories.

Users can rate other user's postings to contribute to highest rated user rankings.

Content within forums to be built manually by Internal Avaya Associates prior to launch of Forums to prevent the release of a deserted forum. Content can be built by Internal Moderators and Subject Matter Experts or possibly brought in from other forums (avayausers.com).
